Coming soon: call recording software that files every call with the customer.
IBIOS call recording software is coming soon: IBIOS will record inbound and outbound calls on your own number and file each recording against the customer and job. It is not live yet. For card payments, send a pay by link so card details are never spoken on the call.

Coming soon: who needs call recording linked to the customer?
Any business where what was agreed on the phone matters later.
Bathroom showrooms
Design consultations and installation details are agreed on the phone. A recording and a written report on the customer record settle what was said.
Tile retailers
Trade customers order by phone. A report of each call on the customer record means the next person knows what was ordered and promised.
Kitchen and bathroom trade
Any business that records calls for training or dispute resolution needs the recordings filed where people will find them, not in a separate system.
Plumbing and electrical suppliers
Phone-first businesses take most orders by phone. Send a pay by link for card payments so no card details are spoken on a recorded call.
Planned technical specifications (coming soon)
Recording format

Questions about call recording (coming soon)
How do I keep card details out of call recordings?
Do not take card details on a recorded call. IBIOS does not stop or restart recordings during a payment. The simplest route is to send the customer a pay by link through SumUp or Stripe, so they pay on the provider’s page and no card numbers are spoken. If you must take card details by phone, ask your phone provider what it offers.
Can I search recordings by customer or job?
When IBIOS call recording launches (coming soon), recordings will be indexed against the customer record and job reference, searchable by date range, customer name, CUST-NNNN reference, or JOB-NNNN reference. Today, AI summaries of your existing GoHighLevel recordings can already be found from the customer record.
How long are recordings kept?
When it launches, the retention period is planned to be set by administrators to meet their own data retention policy or regulatory requirements. IBIOS-stored recordings will be kept on UK-based servers throughout their retention period.
Does the customer need to be told calls are recorded?
Yes. Under UK law (RIPA 2000 and ICO guidance) you are required to inform callers that calls may be recorded. When the IBIOS phone system launches (coming soon), it will support a call announcement message that plays at the start of inbound calls. You are responsible for ensuring your call recording disclosure meets your legal obligations. IBIOS does not provide legal advice.
Which IBIOS product will include call recording?
IBIOS call recording is coming soon, alongside the IBIOS phone system and AI Receptionist. Today, Call Intelligence analyses the recordings your existing GoHighLevel phone line makes.
