Frequently asked questions
- How many deliveries can one van do in a day?
- Divide the working day by the slot length plus the travel time between drops. A slot is only counted if it finishes by the end time.
- What should I allow for travel between drops?
- Use your typical drive time between customers plus a few minutes for loading and parking. Rural routes usually need more.
- Why is there unused time at the end of the day?
- The leftover time is shorter than one slot, so another drop would run past your end time.
- Do all vans get the same slots?
- Yes. Each van runs the same pattern from the start time, so total drops is drops per van multiplied by the number of vans.
- Does IBIOS plan delivery runs?
