Friday afternoon. Full week review. No spreadsheet to build.
Revenue MTD, pipeline value, open quotes and win rate — all visible on login, all drillable. The director sees where the week stands and which quotes need a push before Monday. Without building anything.
Why does the Friday sales review take so long without a dashboard?
It is Friday afternoon. The director wants to know where the week stands before the weekend. The questions are always the same: What is revenue month-to-date? How much is still in the pipeline? Which quotes have gone quiet? What is the win rate doing?
Without a live dashboard, answering those questions means pulling data from several different places, asking the team for figures, building a table in Excel, and calculating win rate manually from a quote status list. That is a lot of work on a Friday afternoon, so it often gets skipped.
When the review gets skipped, quotes that needed a nudge on Friday go cold over the weekend, and Monday starts without a clear list of what needs chasing.
How do you run a weekly sales review in IBIOS?
A step-by-step walkthrough of a real end-of-week review using the IBIOS Sales Dashboard.
Director opens IBIOS on Friday afternoon
The KPI strip is visible immediately on login: revenue month to date, pipeline value, win rate against last month, and the number of open quotes. The headline numbers are there before a single click.
Week's numbers confirmed at a glance
Revenue MTD and win rate give the week's headline story straight away. The director can see whether the business is tracking ahead or behind without opening a separate report, pulling a CSV, or asking anyone for figures.
Open quotes, one click away
The open quotes tile shows the quotes still awaiting a decision. One click opens them in the Quote Pipeline, oldest first, with the last follow-up date on each.
Drill into ageing quotes before the weekend
A couple of quotes have sat in Sent stage for over a week with no follow-up logged. Both are flagged for a call on Monday morning before they go cold.
Laptop closed with a clear picture
Revenue on track. Win rate improving. A couple of quotes need attention Monday. No spreadsheet built, no data requested from the team, and the drill-down into ageing quotes is part of the same review.
The outcome
On login
the week's headline figures, with no manual data gathering
Real time
win rate visible as it happens — not just at the end of the month
Monday list
of quotes needing follow-up, ready before the weekend
The Friday review does not require a data analyst. It does not require anyone to send over their figures. It requires a login, and the director closes the laptop knowing exactly what needs to happen on Monday.
Questions about the end-of-week review
Does this require any setup before the Friday review?
No. The Sales Dashboard populates automatically from quote and invoice activity already recorded in IBIOS. There is no separate dashboard to configure, no data to import, and no report template to build. As long as quotes and jobs are being managed in IBIOS during the week, the KPI strip reflects live data on Friday afternoon.
Can we add custom KPI tiles to the dashboard?
The standard KPI tiles — revenue MTD, pipeline value, open quotes, jobs booked and win rate — are fixed in the current release. Custom or bespoke reporting is available via the IBIOS Reports page, which supports date filtering and CSV export. If there is a specific metric you need tracked, it can be added to the Reports page by the IBIOS team.
Does the dashboard rank or score individual staff?
No. IBIOS does not rank or score staff, and there is no leaderboard. The dashboard shows business-level figures, and the Friday drill-down is about which quotes need attention, not about comparing people.
Does win rate include all quote statuses in the calculation?
Win rate is calculated from closed quote outcomes only: Approved and Declined. Quotes in Draft or Sent status are excluded from the denominator because they have not yet reached a final outcome. This ensures the percentage reflects actual conversion rather than being diluted by quotes still in progress. The figure updates continuously, not just at month end.
Can the director compare this month with last month?
Yes. The IBIOS Reports page provides date-filtered sales pipeline data, so you can see whether quote volume and win rate are up or down on last month. The dashboard gives the current snapshot; the Reports page gives the trend.
