First thing, the owner knows what needs doing before staff arrive.
The IBIOS AI Morning Briefing sweeps your system at dawn and delivers a prioritised action list first thing. Expiring quotes, overdue payments, unacknowledged supplier orders, and today's installer schedule — in one place, before the day starts.
Why does a trade business owner need a daily action list?
Before IBIOS, the owner's morning started with a ritual that ate into the morning and was never quite complete: open the email, check for any overnight supplier replies, open the CRM, scan for quotes about to expire, check the accounts system for overdue payments, ring the office to find out who was doing what today. Every morning. Mostly from memory.
The result was a day that started in catch-up mode. The overdue payment that should have been chased on Monday was still unresolved on Thursday because it never surfaced at the right moment. The quote that expired on Tuesday was only noticed on Wednesday when it was too late to recover. The installer who was double-booked wasn't spotted until the first call of the morning came in.
A morning briefing solves this not by giving the owner more information, but by giving them the right information in the right order at the right time — before the day's noise begins.
How does the IBIOS morning briefing build the daily action list?
A step-by-step walkthrough of how IBIOS generates and delivers the morning briefing.
Briefing generated before the day starts
IBIOS runs an automated sweep of the database early every morning: open quotes, payment status, supplier order acknowledgements, and today’s job schedule.
Items ranked by urgency
The AI applies priority logic: a long-overdue payment can rank higher than a quote that still has some days to run. High-value items are flagged separately from routine items. The owner sees the most critical thing first.
Briefing delivered first thing
The briefing arrives by email (SMS delivery is coming soon). It shows: quotes expiring this week, overdue balances with amounts, outstanding supplier acknowledgements, and today’s jobs with installer names.
One-click access to each item
Every flagged item is a link directly into the relevant IBIOS record. The owner can open a quote, send a follow-up, check an order, or view an installer’s schedule without logging in first and navigating manually.
Staff arrive to a prepared owner
By the time staff arrive, the owner already knows which customers need chasing, which payments are overdue, and which supplier hasn’t acknowledged an order. The morning is directed, not reactive.
The outcome
Prioritised
action items surfaced in order of urgency each morning
No digging
through email, CRM and accounts to find open items
Surfaced
overdue balances shown with amounts, ready to chase
The time saved each morning adds up across a year, and goes back into actual business decisions rather than administrative archaeology. The overdue payment figure is more direct: money that would have continued to age is surfaced and chased before it becomes a write-off conversation.
Questions about the AI morning briefing
Can the morning briefing be delivered by email, SMS, or in-app?
Email and in-app today, with SMS coming soon. You can configure the briefing to be sent by email or viewed in the IBIOS dashboard. Once the SMS summary launches, an owner might use email for detail and SMS for a headline summary. The in-app version includes links so you can tap through directly to any flagged item.
Can I customise which items appear — for example hide installer schedules and show only payment items?
Yes. Each section of the morning briefing — expiring quotes, overdue payments, supplier acknowledgements, installer schedule, and AI sentiment summary — can be toggled on or off per user. Managers and owners often have different configurations. Changes take effect from the next morning’s briefing.
Does it show AI sentiment from yesterday’s calls?
If call recording and AI call analysis are enabled, the morning briefing can include a sentiment summary from the previous day’s calls — flagging any calls where the customer expressed frustration, an unresolved issue, or a strong buying signal that wasn’t followed up. This is an optional section.
Does it alert me if an unusually high-value quote is about to expire?
Yes. Quotes above a configurable value threshold are flagged with a higher priority in the expiring quotes section. The briefing will show the customer name, quote value, expiry date, and a one-click link to send a follow-up message.
Can multiple owners or managers receive separate briefings?
Yes. Each user with the appropriate permission level has their own briefing configuration. A manager responsible for sales might receive expiring quotes and sentiment summaries. A manager responsible for installations might receive only the installer schedule and supplier order status. There is no limit on the number of users who can receive briefings.
